Tom McKinley is a veteran technology leader and entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience, specializing in broadband network development and community economic growth through entrepreneurship.

As CEO of CoreConnect Community Broadband, he leads the deployment of a 10-county, Fiber-to-the-Premises network to close the digital divide and foster community resilience. His expertise in wireless data and communications was cultivated at Apple Computer and Motorola New Enterprises.

Tom has a strong track record of leveraging technology for social good, demonstrated through his various CEO and CTO roles. At Looped Solutions, he developed a private social media platform for healthcare communication, and previously, he led an initiative to commercialize an opioid addiction recovery program. He also founded McKinley Technical Services and Little Neshannock Technologies.

Community Leadership

Tom's dedication extends to community development. He has served for over 18 years on the board of the Northwest Pennsylvania Regional Planning & Development Commission, where he chairs the rural broadband committee. He is also a technical advisor for local school and community events.

Tom also serves on the Board of Directors at Primary Health Network, Pennsylvania’s largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and one of the largest in the nation.
