CoreConnect Community Broadband is a 501(c)(3) non-profit initiative dedicated to deploying a future-proof, open-access fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network across Northwest Pennsylvania. By building community-owned infrastructure and treating broadband as an essential public utility, we bridge the digital divide, lower costs, and drive regional economic resurgence across our 10-county footprint. Through our proprietary Digital Activation Layer, our network transcends basic connectivity—activating new engines for economic vitality, healthcare access, educational equity, and community growth for the citizens, businesses, and visitors of the region.

Funding has been secured and/or discussions are in process and include philanthropic grants, revenue bonds, low interest loans and revenue from network activation.
This structure ensures that all operating proceeds are dedicated to the continuous enhancement of the Corridor—prioritizing regional retention, network expansion, and the long term sustainability.
